Very useful item for my bike
Before I acquire this mount I used to attach my garmin 301 to my bike using the band of the garmin, but it moved during the ride and it was difficult to maintain it without moving. With the mount the GPS is perfectly installed and it remains in the same position all the time. If you use your garmin for both running and cycling the mount is not very practical, since you have to remove the band to attach the garmin to the mount device to use in your bike and then you have to install the band again when you use it for running. If you use your garmin only for bike the mount is perfect and you will have a perfect view of the screen all the time.

Works great on my motorscooter
I know this is intended for bicycle use, but I strapped it on the bars of my DR650 dualsport bike. Fits the Foretrex 201 just fine.

Works great, and I loop the foretrex armband around the bars Just in Case. I do have fancier GPSr and fancier mounts but this is the one I prefer on the bike.

Flawless
The bicycle mount works perfectly. I was worried that the GPS might bounce out of it on rough terrain, but I have put it to the test and it passed. It also allows the GPS to receive the satellite signals much better than when it is wrist-mounted.

Does not work with fore runner 101 despite being "better together"
I have to give this item one star.

While I am sure that it is a very good product it does not work with the fore runner 101 that I bought it for. Well you may say that it is for the 201 not the 101 so why would I expect it to work with the 101???....because it is offered as part of a "better together" deal with the101. It appears that the room required for the AAA batteries makes the 101 just fat enough so that this mount will not work with it. Unfortunately I did not figure this out until I had cut open the packaging for the mount.

A great addition
If yu ride, as well as run, this is a great addition. Easy to mount and use. Get a whole new use for your Garmin. No need for a dedicated bike computer. Nice to mount on the bars so you can see while you ride.
